Dr. Alicia Ashman-Waugh’s journey began in Kingston, Jamaica, and her path has been marked by divine appointments and global influence. After migrating to the United States in her early 20s, Alicia’s passion for inner healing blossomed into the ministry of Prayer Elite Global during a God-ordained mission to China in 2018. In 2022, following the Lord’s leading, Alicia returned to Jamaica, where she is now a vessel of healing and deliverance to her nation, one woman leader at a time. She is married to Pastor Morton (Steve) Waugh, and between them, they are blessed with four children: Britney, Jahnalisa, Gamaliel, and Caleb.
Dr. Ashman-Waugh’s influence reaches far beyond her homeland, with significant contributions in teaching, coaching, and leadership across Jamaica, the United States, and China. Her academic achievements include a Doctoral Degree in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, and Leadership, and a Master of Education in Teaching and Adult Learning from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Central Connecticut State University, a Diploma in Teacher Education from Bethlehem Moravian College, and an Associate Degree in Business Management from the Jamaica Institute of Management. Her exceptional dedication to educational excellence earned her the title of one of Florida’s highest High Impact Teachers for three consecutive years.
Despite these impressive academic credentials, Dr. Ashman-Waugh attributes her true qualifications to her unwavering faith in God and her total surrender to the Holy Spirit. Trained at Bethel School of Ministry in Redding, CA, she embodies a life of radical obedience, great faith, and a commitment to ‘bringing heaven to earth.’ Alicia’s own journey through hurt, trauma, fear, and disappointment has equipped her with the keys to inner healing, spiritual elevation, and victorious living as a Kingdom influencer.
